Simple workout. Note that I said simple and not easy. I did this workout on Tuesday, ended up sweating like crazy and my calves are still a little sore from it. Why? The flutter kicks I’m assuming. My legs are definitely not fazed by squats, so I’m thinking adding in that little kick for some reason just KILLS. Also I did this workout at 5am so I was feeling too lazy to get adequate stretching in pre and post workout. Shame on me 🙁 I also haven’t been doing many HIIT workouts because I am spending more time outside running and etc. Well here is the workout, if you end up sore don’t say I didn’t warn you! And don’t forget to stretch!
50 seconds of each exercise, then 10 seconds rest
40 seconds of each exercise, then 10 seconds rest
30 seconds of each exercise, then 10 seconds rest
20 seconds of each exercise and then 10 seconds rest
Flutter kick squats
This is similar to a tabata workout but a little longer, and more intense. Are you a HIIT fan or prefer running outside and other cardio?? I like a mix but HIIT is probably lower on my list, nothing can compete with a nice run outside but moderation is important! Happy Friday!
