Well I haven’t shared a bar/ball recipe in a while so….. since I am traveling this week, it’s the perfect time 🙂 Bars, balls, bites… whatever way you like to mold them;  they all taste delicious and share the wonderfulness of being good on the go! I feel like the ball is easier but for some reason a bar tastes more filling to me. Most of the bars/balls/bites I make have chocolate and use maple syrup, agave, or brown rice syrup such as my homemade protein bars, chocolate chip nuts balls, and my chocolate sunflower seed bites. This time I’m using dates and no chocolate, but they still taste great.  A little hint for using dates- soak them in warm water- this makes them more pliable and easier to grind in the blender or food processor. Again, these could easily be rolled into balls if you don’t feel like spread it out in a pan… but you should still do the freezing because it makes them less sticky and easier to roll. Also I didn’t have any on hand but cardamom would really add the flavor profile here, shoot for a teaspoon and taste from there!
