Happy Friday friends! Hope you have exciting plans this weekend, I’m off for a surprise last minute trip and can’t wait to see some of my favorite people. Today I want to share some of my favorite things in the world as of late. I’m linking up with Heather and checking out what everyone else has been enjoying lately!
If you aren’t familiar with Heather’s Blog you should go make yourself acquainted right now and be sure to check out her podcast (yours truly will be on an upcoming episode!) She has shared her journey with disordered eating and was not afraid to be very real about it. She’s also a co-founder of the Lane 9 Project which is a community of active ladies and lady activists speaking out about women’s health, nutrition, fertility, and running.
One of their people reached out to me a couple months ago and offered to send me the Greece box and I was thrilled to accept. My husband had actually been ordering the snack boxes for a couple months and we loved them. Plus Greek food is my favorite food of all time, especially after our trip almost 3 years ago.
3. Lenka Bars
After discovering Lenka Bars at a local coffee shop I was thrilled to see they were a local company (out of York, PA). They graciously offered to send me a box to try all the varieties and the hubs and I are huge fans, especially of the Peanut Butter and Sea Salt ones. One of my favorite thing about the company is that it is family owned and everything is homemade (Lenka makes the bars herself).
4. Diving into another year of triathlon training.
With my spring half marathon completed (with a PR) and my next race being a step down in distance it’s time to rev up triathlon training- I’d say it will officially kick off next week! I’m still looking to my schedule for this year but my goal is to conquer the Half Ironman. There are few Midwest/Northeast races I’m looking at but my top 3 in the running right now are Eagleman, Ohio, and Atlantic City. Let me know if you’ve raced any of these and have any feedback.
5. Looking forward to finishing up my WellCoaches certification in the next month
I finished the 18 week program in February and then promptly ignored the material for the rest of the month. I revved up my studying in March will hopefully complete my client practice hours, wellness vision statement, practical exam, and written exam in the next month. If you’ve taken the exams, feel free to share any insight. Or if you’re interested in learning more, let me know. It’s one of the top health coaching certification programs and requires a strong health education background to qualify, which is why I chose it instead of a cheaper certification that any person of the street can sit obtain. Planning on using the certification for my business.
So excited to say hello to spring and goodbye to winter! What’s new with you? Anything you’ve been loving lately? Any fav podcasts? Any spring races on the calendar??
