Today is my Friday, and it’s a half day, who’s jealous? I’ll be en route to Pittsburgh at noon to spend some time with my family and friends. Also on the agenda is a Pirates game (let’s go bucs), Kennywood (Pittsburgh’s finest amusement park), and my bff Val’s 28th bday. Today is the two month countdown until my 28th bday, damn I’m getting old. Anyways… the workout, right…
Who doesn’t like big butts?? Glutes are something I’ve been actually working on for the first time in my life. Tired of having a flat ass, haha. Here’s a post of a glute workout where the top half of your lower body would be more engaged. Obviously a lot of traditional exercises work multiple muscle groups including the glutes such as dead lifts, lunges, squats, and most cardio (boring). So I wanted to make this workout a little more Gluteus Maximus focused: using weights, machine, and resistance band.
Gluteus Maximus Workout- Repeat each exercise 3-4x
15 Weighted Glute Bridges
50 Hip adduction
50 Hip abduction
10 Standing one legged cable kickback (each leg 10x)
10 Standing resistance band side leg raises (each leg 10x)
