I made this like a year ago… and never posted it… probably because a) there is no exact science for making a smoothie and b) options are endless and there are so many things to add and ways to organize it. So you should basically pick at least one from each section to get a well-balanced smoothie.
Here is a combo I think sounds good: Coconut Water, Ice, frozen strawberries, hemp seeds, handful of spinach, mango, and vanilla extract. You can obviously double up in categories as well… OJ, vanilla protein powder, and pineapple would all be delicious added here too!
Consider this a non all inclusive flow chart… feel free to share anything awesome I’m missing in the comments- I love to hear about your creations as well! Also looking at these recipes I forgot one of my favorite ingredients in a smoothie- coconut cream! Add that in- it makes smoothies taste like milkshakes and suuuuper creamy 🙂 Obviously there are more veggie options too I just put the ones that I use the most.
Hopefully this inspires some of you (or at least me) to get on the smoothie train this summer! Smoothies are a quick, nutrition dense, and easy breakfast… perfect on the go and again the options are endless so you won’t get sick of them!
