Happy December friends! It’s that time of year everyone is starting to think about goals and resolutions for next year after an indulgent holiday season. I’ve talked about being anti- New Year’s Resolutions on the blog before but I wanted to talk a little bit more about that today and introduce you to an alternative.
In a nutshell here is how I feel about New Years resolutions- they don’t work. Yes everyone starts out committed but quickly falls off the bandwagon and one of the many reasons is because you can’t go from 0 to 10 overnight. Changes must be gradually implemented to be successful. If you want to read more about my thoughts on resolutions check out this post.
Okay so resolutions don’t work…. What will work?? Ditch the diets and overexercising for my wellness challenge!
Join me January 1st for a FREE virtual health and wellness challenge. We will be dedicated to incorporating healthy behaviors (and gradually limiting the less healthy ones) over 8 weeks. 8 Weeks of Wellness with Jess will be focusing on hydration, eating more fruits and vegetables, physical activity, sleep/meditation, mindful eating, whole foods, practicing gratitude, and general health.
