Happy New Years Eve! Hope everyone is enjoying their day and reflecting over the past year. Looking back at 2013, there are things we could have all done differently, whether that be in work, the gym, or with friends/family. It’s important to grow physically, spiritually, and mentally. Have you made any New Years Resolutions?? Mine is basically to be a more relaxed person and not get worked up over the little things. This is a huge problem of mine that I wish I had better control over but I will continue to work at it. This is what I call a “mental health” goal.
My fitness and physical health goals have not really changed with the new year. I would like to continue focusing on weight training and eating healthy, but not overdoing it in either category. I would like to do another sprint tri and perhaps an Olympic one in the following year. I believe I will get back into serious running once it gets warmer and will inevitably want to do another half, possibly a full marathon! We shall see… so much to do and so little time!! My biggest focus/excitement of the year is getting married in April and then honeymooning to Greece in June! I want to focus on my marriage and new wonderful husband in the coming year 🙂
So this wasn’t a recipe or workout post which may disappointing for some… but I found an awesome Christmas themed workout, posted above. I know that Christmas is over, but I feel like we are all still in the holiday spirit! May your new year hold everything you want it to! xo
