Do at least 5 minutes of any warm up you want and stretching, things are about to get intense! These exercises are set up tabata style with 20 seconds of really hard work pushing yourself and then a 10 second break.  Typically there are 8 sessions of tabata which lasts only 4 minutes.  I would encourage you to repeat the tabata cycle 2-4 times for a longer workout.

1)      Star jumps

2)      Spiderman plank crunch

3)      Alternating jump lunges

4)      V-ups

5)      Tricep pushups (go to knees if too hard)

6)      Pistol squats  (sub single legged squat pulses if pistols are too hard)

7)      Cross crunch -on your back, reach up and touch R hand to L toe, alternate

8)      High knees shuffle

Great at home work out for one of the millions of snow days we have been having or good to do during commercial breaks if you’re not up for a trip to the gym. Watch the Olympics (or your favorite show) and exercise, isn’t that genius!? Ha. Have you been watching the Olympics?? I’ve been catching things here and there… I’m sad to say that I really don’t enjoying watching curling but I can’t wait to see some men’s hockey!! What’s your favorite event?? Least favorite??
