Traveling is one of my passions along with food and wellness! One of the best things about traveling is definitely eating all the food so I’m sharing some recaps and delicious things I’ve eaten in my travels.
My husband and I traveled to Charleston for a wedding and tacked on a couple extra days to celebrate our third anniversary in an epic way!
Pat and I took a beautiful winter getaway to Paradise Island. We went the easy route and stayed at the Atlantis Resort and enjoyed some waterpark fun and lots of relaxing.
My Husband and I took a road trip to Vermont (stopping at some delicious breweries), and then headed over to Maine before ending our trip in Boston so I could attend FNCE.
I attended a life changing conference in Vermont with fellow RD bloggers. It was a great learning experience and I loved hanging out with so many talented women.
During our Italy trip we had an 8 hour layover in London so we decided to get out in the city for a bit and check it out- will definitely need to go back for a longer experience next time.
We took my dream trip to Italy for two weeks, traveling to many of the popular cities. Naples is still the best pizza I’ve ever had and our private boat ride along the Amalfi Coast was stunning.
When in Rome you see all the amazing historic monuments and eat the most delicious food. I still daydream about the Cacio de peppe.
After spending a day seeing the sights in Florence we took a day trip to the countryside to drink wine and check out some of the smaller and lesser known cities. Spoiler alert: this was our favorite day in Italy.
Concluding our trip by spending a few days in Venice… we kayaked through the canals, swam at a nearby beach, and of course took a gondola ride.
I was chosen as a member of the Cabot Fit Team and we spent some time eating delicious food and running a half marathon in my first ever trip to Vermont!
The hubs and I went to New York for a quick overnight trip to celebrate our second anniversary- the perfect city for foodies to celebrate in!
As a winter get away we headed to visit friends in San Antonio with an overnight trip to Austin. We loved exploring and eating lots of delicious southern food.
I was needing to get away and when we found cheap flights to Chicago we decided to go get some deep dish pizza and check out Willis Tower- so cool!
I took a trip to Nashville for FNCE and met up with my friend Ange to explore the area. I had some good beer but didnt get to check out as many foodie places as I wanted.
Pat and I decided to take a West Coast Road trip- flying into Seattle, and ending up in California. In Seattle and Portland we hit up several breweries, great restaurants and got to see some friends and family as well.
After a gorgeous drive along the Pacific Coast highway we checked out the best of Northern California including a hike through the redwoods, several breweries, and of course wineries.
While living in Philadelphia we have become huge foodies and went to the most expensive and fanciest restaurant in the city for our first anniversary. Plus I’m sharing a look at our wedding with photos.
We took an early spring break trip to South Beach to soak up some sun during winter. While we didn’t get to spend much time on the beach- the food was absolutely amazing!!
Probably the most amazing trip of our lives… All of the above photos are from Santorini- it is by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever been in my life. My trip recap isn’t exactly a detailed recap so if you are planning a trip there feel free to reach out to me via email for a more inclusive recap.
**I think this is as early as I started sharing trips on the blog but other cities visited (as an adult) include: Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Jersey Shore, DE beaches, just about everywhere in Pennsylvania, Eastern Shore of MD, Baltimore, DC, Poconos, Riviera Maya, Orlando, Denver, New Orleans, and probably several more I’m forgetting 😉
