Probiotic Cocktails and Gut-Health Mocktails
We’re seeing probiotic cocktails and gut-health mocktails popping up on trendy drink menus. Show us your favorite way to bring these healthy beverages onto your own kitchen cocktail menu.
This month’s Challenge for the Recipe Redux is cocktails and mocktails! While I am typically a craft beer drinker (and wine for dinners out) I do enjoy the occasional cocktail. But it need to be fancy and bursting with flavor. Today I paired two strong flavor profiles spicy (ginger) with sweet (orange juice) to make an Orange Juice Ginger Cocktail. I used regular orange juice (pulp free of course) and ginger kombucha to make a simple and delicious pairing. Vodka is optional but encouraged if you have no issues or medical reasons for avoiding alcohol. I recommended just using one ounce of alcohol but obviously if you like your drinks a bit strong you could add another shot 😉
Perfect timing for summer this orange juice ginger cocktail is refreshing, sweet, and delicious! I talked more about the benefits of probiotics here but it’s always great to include them in your daily diet so why not include them in your cocktail?!

I love this idea! Vodka not optional. LOL! Really though, I bet the ginger kombucha is amazing with OJ.
Hahaha- is vodka ever really optional!?!
