Time for another workout…. I was thinking about my workout patterns the other day… and I thought about how I haven’t done planks in forever but I used to them after EVERY workout. No joke. I was up to a 5 minute plank hold… the other day at the gym I struggled to do 1 minute. Must get back on track. Planks are great because you incorporate so many muscles…. intense but low impact, even better to just pick up and do one on a recovery day. Tighten your abs, flex your thighs and feet on tiptoe… make sure you keep your back straight! These are a few fun variations of planks that I enjoy doing… try to do the holds for as long as you can…. And for the reps try to start at 10… build up time and reps as you make progress.
